User's notes

Single tiny brown fungi. The cap, stalk and underside gills is a brownish orange colour. Cap was roughly 1 cm in diameter. Height was around 3 cms. Stalk was about 1 mm thick.

The size and shape of this little fungus together with that slight flesh colour to the gills indicated that this is a Laccaria. They have white spores and are mycorrhizal. There are a number of species, sorry I can't say which particular one this is.
