This is a good sighting. Even though it has the typical 'yellow' Pluteus characteristics of cap shape and texture as well as those full gills it is unusual in having that bright yellow base to the stem (stipe) where it attached to the wood. This is a wood inhabiting pink spored genus tends to make it easily distinquished from Entoloma species which tend to grown on the soil.
