Micrerethista nigrapex (A Tineid moth (Harmacloninae))

The adult moth of this species has grey forewings, each with arcs of dark speckles, and with dark splodges near the wingtip and the tornus. The head is covered in fuzzy grey scales, and there are variable erectable sets of scales just behind the thorax and along the forewing hindmargins. The wingspan is about 2 cms.
