Reproductive strucuture: A thin fleshed rubbery bracket that is broadly attached to the substrate.

Upper surface: shades of rich red brown hairy, velvety with silky sheen.

Fertile lower surface: lighter brown and extends down the substrate.

Stem: No stem as attached directly to the substrate.

Spores: Colourless

Habitat: Moist forests ususally near waterways or in rainforst communities.

Substrate: On fallen decaying logs. Saprotrophic

Habit: Gregarius, often in overlapping and joined groupings.

Comments: This genus has thin reproductive structures with setae protruding from the pore linings. Visible using a strong lense
