Simocybe sp.

Cap: 14-16 mm wide, convex then flattened with a central domed area, strongly hygrophanous,pruinous, grey brown to olivaceous brown.

Flesh: very thin without distinctive smell.

Gills: adnate (rounded towards stem), moderately distant, grey brown; edge lighter in colour, flat.

Stem: 20mm x 1.5 mm, cylindrical, pruinose, yellowish brown.

Spore print: olive-brown

Often presents with copious amounts of basal mycelium at point of attachment.
